Hamilton Township Public Schools, Uncategorized Tagged Classroom Management, Hamilton, Math, UDL February 4th, 2009
We are going to spend some time today talking about how to manage your UDL classroom with all the choices you are making available and the technology you now have to maintain. Two questions to keep in mind as you peruse the resources are: Which techniques have worked for you in the past? and 2. Which techniques have backfired?
Here is a list of resources that we are going to review to help us establish some guidelines that we will use as a group.

Lisa, Thank you for the workshop today. I enjoyed exploring NLVM and Math Playground and found interesting activities to incorporate into my geometry unit. The discussion on multiple means of presentation was extremely helpful. It was great to hear how others are working on different math topics in their classroom.

Another great day with Lisa. Thank you so much!!
Along with the powerpoints used this week from the last workshop, I will be using the online TEXT to enlarge for the students to go over HW and Warm Ups in class. I can not wait to use it!!
My thinking as a teacher is changing everyday… don’t get me wrong it is all for the good. Just a little step at a time…

I enjoyed the conversation about UDL management and different strategies to use in the classroom. The collaboration and brainstorming of techniques is one of my favorite parts of the workshops.
I also liked the JC-Schools powerpoint collection and see myself incorporating these into my lessons. Thank you!

Discussing classroom climate and intervention techniques with other teachers is a great way to help me meet the needs of all students in my classroom. Common sense ideas, key to making your classroom comfortable and inviting for all students.
