Today we’re going to look at a presentation that needs some work. We’ll talk about ways to improve it, make it more accessible to you (and in turn your students) and what tools you might want to use to accomplish these tasks

    A question for everyone…rule #2? How can we address the needs of the student without the student standing out?

    The rules are good, but hard to see if not in action. I would love to try some techniques in my HELP class. (team teaching with 6th Grade teacher)

    I team teach with a regular ed teacher… should a special ed teacher be included in the future??

    The Successful Inclusion Program article really spoke to me. This was exactly how my elementary classroom was run. I had a variety of teachers in and out of my room all day long…all for the success of OUR students. We did not have students pulled out during literacy or math. Students moved to areas of the room depending on their need (special ed and regular ed alike). We had tremendous success with this model. I am hoping to bring this same idea to my middle school teachers.

    Challenges of co teaching can be difficult if the philosophies of the teachers clash. Keeping the childrens needs a priority is the most important aspect of these types of programs.
